Not a nice thing failure – but what i’ve learned is that its better to admit failure earlier than to keep on banging your head against that wall – nothing corageous or heroic there and to be honest most of us will fail at least a few times. I used to read his newsletter too. Looking back (at least what I remember) he was right on a lot. I remember him saying he rented a home (crazy rare back then) b/c he was convinced housing prices would plummet. I think I unsubscribed for the reason you mention – it was too dark and dreary. I didn’t have enough money to make much difference even I had went all in with his advice. I guess not hearing that bad news over and over was worth more than potential monetary gain.

PS, I think your definition of failure is a tad too harsh.
