You really capture the raw feelings here James. Great piece of writing, a great deal of which I can relate to. Fear, and the subsequent lies have sent me into a nosedive which I woke up in the middle of (perhaps denial could make a good subject for an article as well). I catch an occasional Curb Your Enthusiasm and Bored to Death on Netflix — both make me laugh loudly. The laughing loudly part — also important at fighting fear.
